Celebrating Our Senior Swimmers

The Balcones Woods Blue Wave Senior Scholarship Program recognizes graduating seniors who have demonstrated a long-term commitment to our team and community. Our senior swimmers serve as role models for younger athletes, and this scholarship is one way we celebrate their dedication, leadership, and years of participation.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a Blue Wave Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be a graduating high school senior with no remaining summer league eligibility.
• Have competed in at least three swim meets during four separate Blue Wave seasons.

Scholarship Awards

Each year, two scholarships are awarded to eligible senior swimmers. Scholarship recipients are selected by an independent committee that considers each applicant's commitment to the team, participation, and contributions to the Blue Wave community. The committee is made up of parents of previous and current swimmers, with input from the coaches.

The application process will be shared with eligible seniors at the beginning of the season, and scholarship recipients will be announced at the end-of-season banquet.
